Growing up, I was wandering aimlessly through my life, although I don’t think I realised it at the time. Then a close friend of mine invited me to e:merge – a Christian youth group. That was when I discovered God and that he had a purpose for my life.

Before, I didn’t know that there was a plan for my life. But when I discovered God’s love for me I began to see how he was at work in my life and how he wanted me to know him and follow him.

Being part of St John’s has helped me to grow as a person. There is a very loving community here. We are all different but everyone works together as a team to bless our neighbours and help show God’s love to others.
